GEMINI CAPITAL MANAGEMENT, LLC AWARDED GRANT FOR LOFT APARTMENTS IN ALMA

Breckenridge MI, June 20, 2018 – Gemini Capital Management, LLC is pleased to announce that is has been awarded a Michigan Community Revitalization Program (MCRP) performance-based grant in order to help facilitate the construction of three new loft apartments at 210 East Superior Street in downtown Alma. The construction project is Gemini Capital Management’s way of investing in the local community with an effort to preserve a downtown historic building and hopefully foster increased economic activity into the downtown area.

Ryan Smith a Member of Gemini Capital Management who will be managing the project states: “We are excited to announce that we have been awarded a MCRP grant with help from the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) and the City of Alma. We intend to construct two (2) two-bedroom apartments and one (1) one-bedroom apartment in the space located above the Alma Brewing Company. This project is wonderful in that it will preserve and modernize an amazing historical building in downtown Alma that is currently functionally obsolete. We really think that this project will help spur some economic activity and jump start the rejuvenation of downtown Alma. This project is really a community effort and would not be possible without the help of many people including: Chelsea Rowley at the MEDC, Aeric Ripley at the City of Alma, Bruce Johnston with Revitalize, LLC, Jim Kremsreiter of JBS Contracting, and Tom Gross with Isabella Bank & Trust.

Gemini Capital Management intends to start construction this summer and hopes to have the apartments completed and ready for occupancy in the late fall of 2018.
